Linda Dellamotte

Linda Delamotte is a former nurse with extensive experience in the health sector and an accomplished business woman successfully managing and operating a number of companies.

She launched Your Home Care in 2010 and is proud that it is now recognised as one of Queensland’s leading privately owned Home and Community Support Providers having earned a reputation of providing exceptional, consistent support to its many clients.

Your Home Care has grown solidly over the past ten years and now employs in excess of 70 caring professionals who are qualified, trained and focused on client wellbeing – supporting them to live the life they want and always being respectful of their choices.

The team supports the elderly and people living with a disability who may have a wide range of conditions including highly complex needs that requires the collaboration with a number of professionals. Every client is fully assessed and matched with a team of Support Workers who is best suited to their individual needs. They invest significant time to fully understand each participant’s situation and personal preferences in detail which means their hand selected Support Worker Team will be best suited to help them achieve their goals whatever they might be.

Linda is passionate about providing support to people with disabilities and is an advocate of ensuring they are given every opportunity to live a life that is based on the provision of the best care, all while ensuring a participant’s rights are respected at all times.

It has been a lifelong dream of Linda’s to create a warm, welcoming home specifically modified for people living with disabilities, and together with fellow directors John and Damien they are committed to making real change for the benefit of the participants. She understands that, while there are numerous complexities in building Specialist Disability Accommodation, that a “cookie-cutter” approach is not the answer if you are truly committed to providing beautiful and functional homes to people with disabilities.

Linda is a highly regarded business woman, is the former Chair of the Sunshine Coast Chamber Alliance, is the past President of the Kawana Chamber of Commerce and was a Regional Winner of the 2017 Australian Leadership Excellence Awards.
